In collaboration with KPMG in Canada, please join us on Thursday, October 9, 2025 at 7pm ET for this free virtual workshop “How to be Cyber Safe in Daily Life”.

The world we live in today is as much about our digital presence as it is about our physical presence. This means cybersecurity is for everyone, not just for companies and institutions that may seem beyond our grasp. In this webinar, cybersecurity professional Frances MacTaggart will outline how cybersecurity concepts and mechanisms can be applied to your daily life, both physically and digitally. This will include:

  • Know your own level of risk tolerance
  • Learning scam identifiers to safeguard your accounts
  • Practicing resilience with your digital habits
  • Tips and tools to aid with your personal cybersecurity and job searching

Our speaker, Frances MacTaggart is a Manager within KPMG’s Cyber Resilience, Strategy and Governance practice and is skilled in multiple areas of cyber security, which includes information security governance and strategy, third party risk management, security training, and more. Frances’ expertise involves combining sociocultural and emergency management considerations to create and implement methodologies that could be used to predict, prepare and mitigate against cyber threats. Additionally, she provides her business continuity expertise within KPMG nationally as part of KPMG in Canada’s Business Continuity Team. She uses her background in crisis management to provide insights about adversary and organisational decision making, standard operating procedures, tactics, techniques, and likely responses to cyber events. Frances has applied her expertise in Canada, Switzerland, Poland, Italy and the U.S.
